The annual met gala is the most fashionable and stylish event of the year. Guests showcased the latest styles and trends making it a not to be missed event.

With designer dresses by Alexander Mcqueen, Burberry and Stella McCartney the A list stars glisemed in their gowns.

Sarah Jessica Parker was the first to emerge wearing a decedent and glamorous black and white gown by oscar de la renta!

Kendall Jenner, soon followed being one of the youngest guests at the event. She looked remarkable in a nude tight gown designed by top-shop. Some say she even outshined older sister Kim kardashian who wore a Lavin leg revealing blue dress.

Power couple Ryan Reynolds and Blake lively were a show stopper and the epitome of class.
Blake’s sparkling floor length gown was designed by Gucci as was her husband suit. Her hair cascaded down her shoulder in loose curls and finished off her outfit perfectly.

Talking about hair however nothing can top Nicole Ritchie’s new found purple locks. Her cropped cut showcased her edgy and magical style and complemented her sophisticated yet sexy Donna Karran dress perfectly!

Standing out from the sea of glamorous gowns was model of the moment Cars Delvigne in Stella McCartney trousers and cropped top. Her outfit showcased her youth and her bold personality.’

Not everyone got it as right as Cara though. Up and coming actor Lupita Nyong, although one of the most beautiful girls ever just didn’t hit the mark with her feathery number this year. Kate upton was another miss with a retro inspired look and a very questionable head piece.

All and all the night was a spectacular appreciation and showcase of fashion, style and class!
